Analysis of growth factor expression in co-cultured fibroblasts. CAFs were cultured in Boyden chambers with either MDA-MB-435 cells or MDA-MB-435TGFβsi cells for 72 hrs. RNA was collected from the cells and analyzed for VEGF, bFGF and SDF-1 expression. RT-PCR analysis was performed in triplicates and normalized to GAPDH values and expressed as relative gene expression to gene expression levels in control fibroblasts. *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.001.
