Evidence of positive selection on SNPs and larger genomic regions was independently determined by iHS (C). Association with susceptibility to infection is indicated (red). Thresholds for genes considered under selection, values significantly different from zero, is indicated for each measure (dashed red lines). Genes or SNPs (C) with evidence of positive (blue), purifying (red) and balancing selection (green) are highlighted.
