From: Angiotensin II induces cholesterol accumulation and injury in podocytes
Effect of Ang II on the intracellular cholesterol content of podocytes. Podocytes were stimulated with Ang II (10−7 M) for 24 h. Cholesterol content was detected using a cholesterol quantitation kit. According to the kit, the cholesterol content is proportional to the fluorescence intensity. The figure shows the quantitative analysis of the fluorescence intensity in the two groups, n = 5, *p < 0.05 vs. the normal group.
