ROC analysis suggests that genomic data (the 8-lncRNA signature and a 5-miRNA signature) and quantitative radiomic features are more accurate in predicting malignant IPMN pathology than standard worrisome radiologic features and certain demographic and clinical variables. A final model combining the 8-lncRNA signature, the 5-miRNA signature, radiomic features, standard worrisome features (WF), gender, and presence of jaundice has potential to have high accuracy in predicting malignant pathology, with an AUC value approximating 0.92.
