Scatter plot of amplitude and translocation time for particles passing through the channels containing a cavity. For each event we plot the maximum RP current amplitude (when the particle occupies narrow entrance) and the minimum RP current amplitude (when the particle occupies the cavity). The dashed lines show linear fits to the data. The fits show a positive correlation between translocation time and current amplitude when the particle is in the narrow part of the channel, and a negative correlation in the cavity.
