TH signal, but not calretinin, is weaker in the lateral part of LPS-treated OB (b) compared to that of saline-treated OB (a) at Day 21, but not in the medial part (c,d). All nuclei are stained with DAPI (blue). Scale bars, 50 μm. (e,f) The normalized TH intensity in the GL is significantly lower in the lateral part of the LPS-treated OB than saline-treated OB (e), while that of calretinin differs neither in the lateral nor medial part (f).
