Graphical summary of inducing hADSCs into neural stem cell-like cells (iNSCs), neuron-like cells (iNs) and GABAergic neuron-like cells (iGNs). Our optimized induction protocol using an SM combination efficiently induces hADSCs into iNSCs, which have self-renewal capacity. iNSCs can also be induced into iNs and iGNs, and possibly into astrocytes and oligodendrocyte precursors.
