Estradiol increased Trx-1 and reduced Txnip expressions. (A) The mRNA and protein levels of Trx-1 increased significantly in HUVECs after 16hrs of IH, which were further elevated by estradiol supplement (n = 5, # P < 0.05 and *P < 0.01). (B) IH treatment inhibited the mRNA and protein expressions of Txnip in HUVECs, which were more significant combined with estradiol treatment (n = 5, # P < 0.05 and *P < 0.01).
