Two human pancreatic tumor lines, AsPC-1 and BxPC-3, were implanted in both subcutaneous and orthotopic locations. Stromal components, i.e. collagen and hyaluronan, patent blood vessels and tissue molecular uptake, were analyzed across an entire histological tumor slice.
