Calculated and experimental crystalline magnetic anisotropy Δχ induced by 1 at. % Yb3+-doping. If Δχ > 0, the orientation control of the c-axis in crystalline microparticles can be processed using a static magnetic field. Conversely, if Δχ < 0, orientation control requires a rotating magnetic field. A relative rotating magnetic field can be formed by rotating a slip-casting mold under a static magnetic field.
