Blocking of PD-1 or PD-L1 Restores Host T-Cell Function. (a) Binding of PD-L1 to PD-1 will inhibit host T cell from killing the tumor cell; (b) By drugging either PD-1 or PD-L1, receptor binding is blocked and the T-cell can resume normal tumor killing functions.
