Cell viability (XTT) analysis of A549 human lung cells after 24 h (A) or 72 h (B) continuous treatment with organic PM10 (200 or 400 µg.mL-1). ROS induction under the same conditions was also evaluated, using the DCFDA (C and D) or the Mitosox (E and F) fluorescence probes. *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01 are statistically significant compared to negative control (DMEM), according to Dunnett's test. DC: DMSO control (0.1%).
