ATE1 levels are significantly lowered in dopaminergic neurons from human patients with Parkinson’s disease. Plot showing relative ATE1 expression levels in laser-captured human dopaminergic neurons in substantia nigra of normal brain and PD patients calculated from the public GSE20141 microarray data set44 using RMA method. Calculation was performed in log2 unit and plotted in linear fashion. p-value = 0.008.
