(a) Plasmonic optical trapping on a ARNSL surface in 1.0 s, (b) MFBS-assisted 2D-trapping (corresponding to Fig. 1) in 2.7 s and (c) 1D-trapping (corresponding to Fig. 3) in 10 s. Insets in panel (b,c) show the expanded views. From the figures, it is obvious that MFBS-assisted trapping can perform a very tight trapping. A particle is almost immobilized in Fig. 5(c).
