Strains harbouring the plasmids pLAFR3 (empty vector) or pKRT1 (pLAFR3 with the glnAntrBntrC as an insert) grew in NFbHP medium amended with 25 mM D-glucose. Graphs A and C represent the data for SmR1, while B and D for the ntrC mutant at low and high C/N ratio, respectively. Red symbols are non-complemented strains, while blue symbols correspond to the complemented ones. Data represent the average ± standard deviation of three independent samples.
