Experimental setup for the optical cryptosystem (BS 1,2: beam splitter, L 1: Fourier transform lens, L 2: a lens for collecting all the optical energy onto photodetector PD 1, which gives the scanned heterodyne signal. The output of photodetector PD 2 gives a heterodyne frequency as a reference signal to the lock-in amplifier).
