Map displaying the locations of study sites in the native (Japan) and introduced (United States) ranges of the Asian needle ant Brachyponera chinensis. The sampling design consisted of twelve 900-m line transects, seven in Japan (T1-T7) and five in the United States (T7-T12). Maps were created with the QGIS software (version 2.18; http://www.qgis.org/en/site/forusers/download.html).
