From: Self-jumping Mechanism of Melting Frost on Superhydrophobic Surfaces

SEM images of the prepared nano-needle superhydrophobic surface with different magnification. The diameter and the height of the pillar are ~40 µm and ~10 µm, respectively. And the central distance of the adjacent pillars is ~100 µm. The inset shows the contact angle of a 10 µL sessile water droplet on the prepared surface.
