The SEM images show the porous nano-/microstructure of the material on the surface and in the bulk (side view of a 210 µm coating on glass). (b) Fluoropor bulk nano-/microstructured samples of 820 µm and 3500 µm thickness. (c) Optical transmission of Fluoropor samples with varying average thicknesses between 55 µm and 3500 µm. All scale bars: 1 cm. Optical transmissions were measured against a blank of the supporting glass and therefore display the values for the coating only.
