Detection of ALK rearrangements using standard Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization (FISH) and rapid FISH (RaFISH). Samples were classified as positive for ALK rearrangement when 15% or more of tumor nuclei showed split signals (red and green signals were separated by ≥2 signal diameters) or single red signals (3′ ALK) were observed in FISH or RaFISH. (A) Positive demonstrated using FISH. (B) Positive demonstrated using RaFISH. (C) Negative demonstrated using FISH. (D) Negative demonstrated using RaFISH.
