Results of μ-CT analysis. Radiologic analysis revealed that after 8 weeks of implantation, the bone volume in each silk mat group showed a significant difference (P = 0.007). In the post hoc test, the bone volume was significantly increased in the layer 2/3 group compared with the unfilled control group and the layer 1 group (*P = 0.018 and 0.022, respectively). No statistically significant differences were observed between the layer 2/3 + TNF-α group and the other groups (P > 0.05).
