BmPlk1 is SUMOylated in silkworm. (a) Total lysates from FLAG-BmPlk1 cells in the presence of control dsRNA or BmSMT3/BmUBC9 dsRNA treatments were immunoprecipitated by anti-FLAG antibody and then immunoblotted with the indicated antibody. The smeared band represented the SUMOylated FLAG-BmPlk1. Cropped blots are displayed and full-length blots can be found in Supplementary Fig. S6a,b. (b) Unique peptides for BmPlk1 and BmSmt3 were both identified in the smeared band by LC-MS/MS. The detailed information can be found in Supplementary Fig. S3.
