Knockdown of RNA helicases DHX29, DHX35 and RIG-I reduces the expression of MYXV early and late proteins. (A) 786-0 and (B) A549 cells were transfected with siCon or siRNAs targeted to the indicated RNA helicases. After 48 h, the cells were infected with vMyx-FLuc at MOI of 1 FFU/cell for 1 h and replaced with fresh media. Cells were then collected at the indicated time points and processed for luciferase assay. The assays were done in triplicate. Fold reduction in Fluc expression was calculated from the samples infected with MYXV alone. *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01.
