Nano-SIMS isotope maps of selected areas in molybdenite sample Alacrán B6. Images show the homogeneous distribution of 98Mo isotope (A,E), the oscillatory zoning of 185Re (B,F), and the presence of Ag-rich Re-Os bearing nano- to micron-size particles attached to (B–D) or within interstitial space of molybdenite (F–H). Images are 50 × 50 µm in size.
