Heat map of the differentially expressed genes (p < 0.05) in MC vs SC involved in ribosome, DNA replication, protein processing and heat shock response. The transcription levels of genes by RNA-seq were determined at 48 h after methanol induction in fed-batch fermentation of MC and SC. The gene names are according to the corresponding sequence in S. cerevisiae. The gene description and the gene locus tag in K. phaffii are listed in supplementary Table S2.
