ERα and E2 modulate human T_reg cell function. Equal numbers of tumour-dervied T_reg and T_eff cells (1 × 10⁵ cells per subset) were co-cultured with or without ICI and exogenous E2 for 5 days and cytokine concentrations in the supernatant were determined by ELISA.
