Normalized intensity autocorrelation function. Data are plotted in a double-logarithmic fashion for the vitrifying sample at n = 1.9 µm−3 (Φ = 1.3 × 10−3) from measurements started after different waiting times as indicated. Note the low intercept stemming from arbitrarily setting the shortest lag time to 0.1 μs, integrating out the fast fluctuations due to multiple scattering. Note further its variability due to non-availability of proper ensemble averaging. Qualitatively, however, two distinct relaxation processes can be reproducibly monitored.
