(A) ROS is increased in NSC19726-treated but not in untreated cells of C. albicans strain SC5314. ROS levels were higher from exponential phase growth compared to stationary phase growth. (B) The % survival of SC5314 in the presence of NSC19726 was increased when cells were co-treated with N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), which is an inhibitor of ROS.
