Sedimentation velocity of ternary Mag complexes. (A) (Upper panel) Fit of experimental curves of MagD + MagB sedimentation using Sedfit and its residual (lower panel). Results of the c(s) analysis for (B) MagD + MagB, (C) MagA:MagD + MagB, (D) MagF:MagD + MagB. Samples were studied at 0.5 mg/ml, at 20 °C with a rotor velocity of 35,000 rpm and monitoring the absorbance at 280 nm. The buffer included 5% glycerol. Note that addition of MagB to the MagA:MagD sample causes disappearance of the shoulder at approximately 7 S, suggesting stabilization of a unique ternary form.
