Detection limit of the Nested-PCR for a differential diagnosis of Plasmodium simium. P. simium human DNA sample were serially diluted 2-fold with a starting parasitemia of 100 parasites/µL to 1.65 parasites/µL. 2% Agarose gel stained with ethidium bromide.
