The bars represent the ratios of the kcat/KM values for cADPR versus the kcat/KM values for the other substrates indicated. The numbers above the bars are the absolute kcat/KM values for the hydrolysis of cADPR estimated as described in Supplementary Fig. S1. Data for the wild-type enzyme and for the triple mutant F37A + L196F + C253A were obtained in previous work55.
