Gavin’s score was highly associated with both raw test score (Pearson’s r = 0.76) and Bayesian score (Pearson’s r = 0.73). Bayesian score was the Bayesian estimates of patients’ ability (namely the risk of developing diabetic foot); their posterior standard deviations served as standard errors. Bayesian score obeys Gaussian distribution with mean = 0 and standard deviation = 1.
