Remodeling was implemented by prescribing changes of the material properties. The four material parameters were fitted as function of a weighting factor w (with w = 0 returning the stress-stretch response before remodeling and w = 1 after remodeling) for aortic early (a) and late-stage (b) development, and pulmonary early (c) and late-stage (d) development.
