Chia mRNA is highly expressed in omnivores stomach tissue. Expression levels of Chia and gastric genes as well as GAPDH were quantified on the same scale by qPCR using the standard DNA (Supplementary Fig. S1) in bovine, dog, pig, chicken and mouse stomach tissues.
