The systemic postwound administration of EpoB improves corneal nerve regrowth and the recovery of sensitivity. Animals were treated with i.p. administration of EpoB 24 hours after corneal epithelium abrasion (A). The nerve regrowth area (B left and C), nerve regrowth length (B middle and C), and the sensitivity of the cornea (B right) at 7 days after corneal abrasion was determined.
