Population-wide loss of fluorescence from cycloheximide-treated Vero-d2EGFP cells. (a) Untreated parental Vero cells (black), untreated Vero-d2EGFP cells (green), or Vero-d2EGFP cells treated with cycloheximide for 4 h (blue) or 8 h (red) were subjected to cytofluorometry. (b) Using data collected from the same cells by either cytofluorometry (grey bars) or with a plate reader (black bars), signals from the cycloheximide-treated cells were expressed as percentages of the value recorded for untreated Vero-d2EGFP cells.
