From: ZFP36L1 and ZFP36L2 inhibit cell proliferation in a cyclin D-dependent and p53-independent manner

Effects of the overexpression of ZFP36L1 and ZFP36L2 on expressions of cell-cycle-related proteins in T-REx-293 cells. T-REx-293/HA-ZFP36L1 (HA-L1) and T-REx-293/HA-ZFP36L2 (HA-L2) cells were treated with 1 μg/mL doxycycline (Dox) to induce ZFP36L1 or ZFP36L2 expression for 1, 2, and 3 days. (a) Total protein was collected, and expressions of cell-cycle-related proteins were detected using western blot analysis. (b) Total RNA was collected, and the mRNAs of cyclin D and p53 were detected using a quantitative RT-PCR. Each value is presented as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. *p < 0.01, compared with the same cells without Dox treatment.
