(b) Mean latitudinal distribution (solid line) of the estimated GPP differences between future (2070) and current conditions; gray shading denotes the standard deviation among GPP models estimated using traits predicted from the 17 different climate model projections. Average GPP decreases at low to mid-latitudes, while higher latitude ecosystems show general productivity increases under projected future climate conditions.
