HPLC analysis of major compounds in the ethanol and alkaloid-free flavonoid (FSF) fractions. Five standard compounds, matrine (peak 1), sophoridine (peak 2), oxymatrine (peak 3), kurarinone (peak 4) and sophoraflavanone G (peak 5) were detected at 220 nm (Fig. 1a) and 290 nm (Fig. 1b), respectively.
