(A) The state bifurcation diagram of ϕ s obtained by changing the parameter τ2. τ2 is the information transfer delay from inhibitory interneurons IIN to the EPN, which may be induced by the GABA B receptor in IIN. The SRN enters the seizure state when τ2 is increased to approximately 0.15 s. (B–E) Four specific time sequence diagrams of ϕ s are obtained by setting τ2 = 0.02 s, τ2 = 0.14 s, τ2 = 0.18 s and τ2 = 0.22 s, respectively. In all simulations, we set −ν sr  = 0.95 mV s, ν se  = 1.5 mV s, γ s  = 160 Hz, and τ1 = 0 s.
