Western blot analysis of proteins involved in ER stress and the UPR in SH-SY5Y cells. With four-hour isoflurane exposure, alterations were seen to (A) calnexin, (B) PERK, (C) protein disulphide isomerase (PDI), (D) Fbx06, (E) EDEM1, (F) BiP and (G) EroI. Typical bands shown from biological triplicate experiments. All results were p < 0.05 as determined by student’s t-test between control and isoflurane exposed samples.
