Chitosan and cloxacillin combination can reduce extracellular and intracellular MAC-T infection. MAC-T cells were infected for 2 h with CNS in a MOI 10. After that, MAC-T cells were cultured in the presence of medium or different concentrations of cloxacillin [0.5, 4, 16, 64 µg/mL], chitosan [200 µg/mL] or cloxacillin and chitosan combined for 24 h.
