Workflow. (A) Tumor and matching lymph nodes were included and analyzed based on anatomic immunological structures: Germinal centers (I round, II non-circular), follicles and germinal center mantle zones (III), cortical macrophage infiltrations (IV) and lymph node metastasis (V). (B) Structures were annotated for further calculations as area densities and roundness. (C) H&E/IgD stainings were performed on all lymph nodess to highlight the structures. (D) Example of fully annotated H&E stained lymph node section.
