Proposed cross-talk between plant and endophytic fungus A. nidulans via ABA. The plant ABA might be sensed by endophytic fungus, which may change the gene transcription, protein biosynthesis and degradation. Then, primary metabolism may changed, which could exchange nutrients with host cell. Fungal secondary metabolites may also be changed for their environmental adaption.
