TNBS, except in the normal control group, was intrarectally administered to mice and test agents [saline, LC5, LC27, LC67, LC68 (2 × 109 CFU/mouse), or sulfasalazine (SUL; 50 mg/kg)] were orally administered for 3 days. The mice were sacrificed 18 h after the final administration of test agents.
