The ‘base’ model comprising major risk factors age and APOE ε4 allele status (A) was outperformed by the ‘base+ kynurenine’ model (B) and the ‘base+ anthranilic acid’ model (C) and ‘base+ kynurenine+ anthranilic acid’ model (D). Logistic regression models were employed to perform the analyses. AUC: area under the curve.
