Effect of altered media change protocols on the metabolic fingerprint of the gut MPS. Intracellular metabolite concentrations were quantified for a 2-day media change (left panel) and partial media change (right panel) protocol for the gut MPS at days 2 (D2), 6 (D6) and 10 (D10). Metabolites were grouped according to involvement in particular pathways. Changes in metabolites over time appear to be similar between the media change protocols.
