From: PCR-Stop analysis as a new tool for qPCR assay validation
The experimental setup PCR-Stop analysis. Six batches each with eight samples containing the same target DNA quantity are subjected to up to five PCR pre-runs with ascending numbers of amplification cycles. Afterwards, all batches are amplified in a normal qPCR run (more details in the text).
