(A–E) Show the presence of a distinct Z-ring (C) in control cells and absence of a ROS signal (D). (F–J) Show the immediate delocalization of the Z-ring resulting in a diffuse green fluorescence and an increase in ROS signal. The confocal image was collected 5 min following the addition of 1 mM 2,4-D directly into the imaging media. (E and J) Are AFM images overlaid with the confocal images.
