Time-dependent killing kinetics of bacteria by Cu complex. (A) S. aureus cells were treated with different concentrations of Cu complex (0.5 × MIC, 1 × MIC, 2 × MIC) and colony forming unit (CFU/mL) was measured every 2 h for a period of 10 h. Data represent mean ± SD of three independent experiments (*p < 0.05 compared to untreated control). (B) Cu Complex treatment resulted in complete cell lysis.
